Tatiana Nikonova
Nikonova Tatiana is a qualified lawyer, active member of the Barcelona Bar Association, registered under number 43258.
In 2011, Tatiana successfully graduated from the International Business Law program, ESADE Law School, after which she decided to pursue a lawyer’s career in Spain.
In late 2011 - early 2012, after completing the Master's program at ESADE, Tatiana's priority was the validation (homologation) of her foreign higher education diploma in Spain. It is a process whereby the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports assesses a foreign degree and judges it to be comparable to a Spanish degree, with the same effects for professional purposes. It is a mandatory procedure for foreign citizens willing to validate their academic degree or diploma in Spain.
Awaiting the validation of her diploma, Tatiana started working for a leading Canadian law firm in the intellectual property team, providing consulting services to international companies in relation to the registration and protection of intellectual property rights.
In 2016, after successfully passing all the exams and a long wait to receive the official document validating her higher education diploma, Tatiana was awarded a lawyer's license.
Due to the fact that while living in Spain, Tatiana independently studied immigration laws and practice in this area, and also acquired first-hand experience of obtaining legal permits that allow her to live and work in Spain, she decided to change her legal specialization.
Since 2017, Tatiana has been taking part in professional conferences and forums on Spanish immigration law, and has completed advanced training courses from the Barcelona Bar Association.
At present, Tatiana has her own legal practice under the name of IGOLAW GLOBAL MOBILITY, where she offers comprehensive legal consulting services in immigration, tax and commercial law.
Tatiana has a strategic mind and a talent for finding unorthodox solutions, a practical and thorough approach, and a deep understanding of the Spanish legal system.
