Residence for Socio-Formative Arraigo

Who Can Apply for Socio-Formative Arraigo?

Foreign nationals who meet the following requirements:

Continuous residence: Have continuously resided in Spain for at least 2 years.

Education/training commitment :

  • Be enrolled in or currently studying in a post-compulsory secondary education program at an authorized educational center in Spain.
  • Be undertaking a complete training program at an authorized center, leading to a Level C professional certificate within the vocational training system, including levels 1, 2, or 3, or in basic education for adults through in-person programs
  • Commitment to undertake training promoted by the public employment services in Spain.

Social ties :

  • Submit a favorable social integration report issued by the corresponding Autonomous Community.

Requirements

You must be physically present in Spain (not applying for international protection).

You must reside continuously in Spain for at least 2 years.

You must have no criminal record and pose no threat to public security.

You must not be subject to a return ban or deemed inadmissible to Spain.

Duration of the residence permit:

  • Appointment: We schedule your fingerprinting appointment at the police station on your behalf.
  • Documentation: Bring your passport and a photo for the Foreigner Identity Card (TIE); we take care of the rest.
  • Fingerprinting: You will receive your TIE within 30 to 45 days, certifying your legal residence in Spain.
